Traveller

This painting captures a landscape from a bird’s eye view. The intricate dot work throughout the painting depicts native trees, mangroves, rocks, and stretches of beach, each pattern carefully
chosen to reflect the textures and life of the land. The tracks and circular symbols represent the movement of the traveller and their campgrounds, illustrating their life journey. The Traveller’s
footprints are depicted on top of the crocodile as if he/she is one with this beautiful creature.
The Crocodile hide, shown in pieces, represents what I believe lies beneath the surface of our animals, which is art, love and storytelling.
